With the growing penetration 
banking facilities through online mode such as internet/online banking, mobile banking, phone banking, the possibilities of double-dealing and cheating have also escalated. All the scheduled commercial banks, financial services companies, float periodic guidelines and advisories to safeguard customers’ interest and to aware them with the latest trickery approaches used by the fraudsters.

State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s biggest lender, said that the data of its customers are safe and that it is continuing to probe the systems for a potential breach of security after a Techcrunch report on data compromise at the bank.

"Basis our initial probe, we hereby confirm that SBI's data continue to remain secure and all profiles and financial records of our customers are safe,” a bank spokesperson said in a note. “The bank is continuing its investigation into all the components of the ecosystem to ascertain that there is no other impact."

Earlier, the foreign Web site claimed that the SBI server was located in a Mumbai data centre and was not protected by a password for an unknown period. This allowed anyone access to financial information, such as bank balances and recent transactions, on millions of SBI customers.

State Bank of India (SBI) enables its customers to customise its SMS alerts service through internet banking. In other words, subscribers of SBI's internet banking service can turn on/off and choose among different types of alerts through the bank's SMS alert service, according to a video tutorial shared by the bank on its website.

Among other options, SBI customers can switch on or off SMS alerts that notify the subscriber about occurrence of different events, such as debit card purchase, issuance of cheque book and money deposit in the account, according to the bank. Through its SMS alerts facility, SBI provides updates to its customers on different kinds of transactions taking place in the account.

If you are a State Bank of India (SBI) account holder and use its internet banking service, you have only two days keep your online account running. The country's largest bank said net-banking accounts will be blocked if the account holder does not link his/her mobile number with the account before



"As per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) advisory, it is mandatory to register your mobile number to avail internet banking services. Pregister your mobile number with Bank immediately through your Home branch / any Branch, if not already registered, failing which your access to Internet Banking Services may be stopped with effect

State Bank of India (SBI), the largest bank in India, has warned the customers about fraudsters approaching the customers through WhatsApp and other social media platforms to obtain confidential and personal banking details such as One Time Password (OTP), details of SBI ATM-cum-debit card, SBI credit card, bank account credentials etc

1. The registration is open for limited numbers of 30,000. Registration is open till 30,000 forms are submitted.
2. Only Gujarat State Government employees are eligible for this exam. 
3. Login is to be created by using applicant’s mobile number as user name & applicant has to choose their own password. An OTP will be sent on the mobile no which is to be entered to complete registration process. All the communication by SMS will be sent to the candidate on this mobile number. Password should be without any special character. 
4. Application fee to be paid online using debit cards, credit cards or net banking. Registration fee paid is “Non Refundable” and “Non Transferrable”. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. 
5. No hard copy of the registration form is to be sent to university. The print out of your form is to be attested by your department head on page no 2. This print out along with Xerox copy your service certificate & photo ID is to be submitted at the time of examination. Original photo ID is to be produced at the time of examination for verification. 
6. Applicant has to load his photo & signature at the time of filling of form. 
7. Application can be submitted for any exam Theory and practical both or only theory or only practical. Applicant who has passed in theory paper can appear for practical exam only. Similarly applicant who has passed in practical examination previously can appear for theory examination only. 
8. Applicant is allowed to change the information filled in the application form except their name & type of examination by submitting “Form Edit Request” through his respective login. 
9. In case you forget password, it can be retrieved from the system by entering your login name & clicking “Forgot Password”

Divisional Accountant:

Assistant Flotilla Supervisor:
1. Extensive marine experience of at least 7 years and capable of taking charges of floating craft operation work and organisation. Must have experience of controlling large staff. Must have good knowledge of English. Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi


Surveying Recorder:
Matriculation. Should have adequate experience in hydrographic survey department in taking sextant angles and plotting fixes station pointer. Should be conversant with the reduction of soundings to the datum and preparation of working sheet for the surveyor. Should have knowledge of hand lead marking and taking sounding by lead. Preferential Qualifications: (1) Diploma in Civil Engineering (2) Knowledge and experience of chain surveying & levelling.


Signalman:
(1) SSLC/XIIth pass. (2.) Complete knowledge of the International Code. (3) Should be able to receive and send messages b+G98y mores and semaphore at the rate of 8 and 12 words per minute respectively.

Selection Process:
The selection will be made on the basis of performance in online/written test and/or proficiency/skill test as applicable. There will be no interview for the above Class III posts. Non-submission of requisite documents by the candidate during this process will disqualify his/her candidature from further participation in the recruitment process.
