PAN card – Not linked to Aadhaar card? So this news is especially for you
If you do not link to your PAN card number, your PAN card can be canceled. The government has ordered the PAN card to be linked to the support card by August 31. It is also said with the Finance Ministry that till the PAN card is linked to the Aadhaar card, a return file can not be filed. Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adhia also clarified that if you do not link the support card with the PAN card in the prescribed time limit, your page number can also be canceled.
It is worth mentioning that more than 2 crore people in the country have linked the support card to the PAN card. There are 25 million page holders in the country. There are currently 111 crore people in the country.
